AllJazz offers approximately 1000 jazz 78s, LPs, CD, memorabilia, and other items every two months. The auction is international, with customers in 23 countries in Europe, Asia, Africa, North and South America.

Catalogs: For each auction, we send printed catalogs to customers or email a notification that the catalog is available on the web - usually about three weeks before the closing of the auction. (You can look at the catalog here or download it as a Word document or as a .pdf file.)

In the catalog, we abbreviate the names of the companies that produced the records. Check here for a list of label producers and their abbreviations.

Grading: We grade all items prior to auction and do our very best to grade carefully and accurately. For more on the grading system we use, and how we go about the process, check here.

Bids: There are minium bids on some items, but there are no suggested bids. Check here for more on bidding.

Winners: Once all bids are received we set the bid calculating elves to work and within a few days we send winners letters (either by post or email) to winners letting them know what they won and calculating the total (plus postage.) Winners then send approval for us to charge their credit cards (some provide pre-approval for us to charge any wins, which speeds up the process) or a check by mail. As soon as payment is received we pack and ship your records.

Shipping: Shipping valuable and rare records (or other items) is a constant challenge. Check here for more on how we ship, what it generally costs, and what to do if your package doesn't arrive or the records are damaged.

Consignment: We are in the process of selling our personal collection and, sadly, can no longer take consignments. We will try to help you find sellers for your collection , if you wish.
